Sarah D’Annibale

Sarah started with the STR Group in 2018 and is now a Consultant for our US Architecture team.

Starting out

Back home in the United States, I worked in various customer service positions and then for six years as the personal assistant to the co-founder of an international charity organisation. After moving to the UK, I went to work for the country’s second largest McDonald’s franchise, where I managed the hiring and onboarding process for 10 restaurants, as well as customer service and management training for 22 restaurants.

I started with STR Group on October 10th, 2018 as a Talent Acquisition Assistant for our Careers team. I spent 6 months in this role – recruiting for driven, determined and motivated individuals to join STR and its brands. As I was helping grow the STR Group family, I was watching my soon-to-be Line Manager, Charlotte Northam, doing amazing things in the NYC Architectural market and knew that I wanted to be part of her team. In April 2019, I joined our Architecture brand, Stride, as a Strategic Talent Specialist for New York’s Interior Design market. It was the best move I could have made! I love my team, am building fantastic relationships with world-renown client companies and am helping incredibly talented Designers find their dream roles! In these few short months, through hard work and dedication, I have shot to 26th place for overall billers and 8th for permanent billers across the whole company!

It’s not all about work

Why the STR Group?

A note from Sarah

“I knew on the day of my first interview that STR is where I belong. I felt immediately welcome and at home with Scott and Rich at our first meeting, and I remember telling the Directors at my second interview that I belonged on that sales floor. I wasn’t wrong! There hasn’t been a day since I started that I have had second thoughts about my career; I truly feel like I am part of the family here.  We have fun and we get a lot of work done, but most importantly I know that I can count on my team and I feel valued as an employee and as a person here. From other Consultants to the CEO, I have formed some really lovely relationships that I hope to maintain for years to come!”
