What you do, not what you wear
Relaxed dress code
It’s been over a year since the STR Group stopped our formal dress code and we couldn’t be happier.
Our previous dress code was smart, suit/trousers and shirt with a collar or tie for the men and officewear with skirts to the knee for women. One of our objectives is to be a leading recruitment company, with innovative staff, who are motivated and engaged in their roles.
How could we expect this with such rigid rules on clothing?
So we now have a relaxed approach, trusting our employees to wear what is appropriate and comfortable for them on a daily basis. For the STR Group, it’s more important that our staff are happy and confident in their working day. If they’re happy, we’re all happy.
Our employees can now enjoy their favourite clothes, jeans or shorts, t-shirts, blouses and jumpers, every day.
“I feel more relaxed and comfortable, with no pressure to fit in. It’s so nice to come to work feeling like yourself and not worrying about what you’re wearing. I can just focus on delivering on my work”.
Wall Street Wednesday
We also like to have a bit of fun with our attire. In March we had a month-long sales incentive with the chance to win some amazing prizes including; a Jeroboam of champagne, extra holiday and SONOS speakers.
So in line with our sales incentive, we had a Wall Street Wednesday fancy dress day!
Our consultants came suited and booted in their best Wall Street attire for the chance to win Christmas Eve off! It was a clear win for Charlotte in Stride with her dapper suit, hat and moustache combo!
The best performing team over the month was Stream, who picked up a tasty team lunch at Wagamamas!
So if you’re fed up with working in a company where you’re just another number in uniform, drop your CV below and start your career as a Recruitment Consultant with the STR Group.
