Having been in our Quay Point office for over 10 years, the Management team decided that it needed a face-lift to reflect the new direction of the Group. Having a mixture of personalities and roles under one roof, we knew we needed to get it right for all our staff.
We started by removing all internal walls, creating one large open plan office. Our meeting rooms and kitchen have glass walls to create space and a sense of community across all our brands. Having previously had two kitchens, we turned one into a ‘break-out’ room where our staff can go to work away from their desk and gain some focus. We then extended the remaining kitchen to make it suitable for all staff to use; the large, canteen-style kitchen is equipped with 4 microwaves, 3 dishwashers, 3 fridges, a water fountain and a fully subsidised hot drinks machine.
Our new kitchen houses our breakfast club, where we offer breakfast to all staff who are at work early. With a selection of cereals, pastries and toast, you won’t go hungry!
Having completed all this, we were left with a blank canvas, so we commissioned artwork to be designed to reflect the direction and personality of the company. We went for bright colours teamed with interesting imagery and bold, motivating statements. Not wanting the artwork to be boring, we introduced details hidden around the offices, which can only be seen from certain angles.
